I've never taken supplements and afaik neither have my veggie friends or
family. I don't cook meat for my kids, although occasionally buy it for
them to cook, but they eat a staggering mount of oily fish and fresh fruit
and vegetables so I don't feel the need for them to add to the diet.

Supplements are normally taken by idiots who believe the vast amount of lies
and untruths peddled by drug companies, both corporate and "alternative".
Imho, except for pregnant women and people with digestive problems a human
only needs a balanced diet as there is nothing we need in mammal meat not
provided by other substances.
