Like profligate MPs, BBC executives and hundreds of other free loaders in
Britain today, it is clear that football is no different to the rest of society.

OK, there may be some sectors of society that may have parallels, with
remuneration way outstripping ability - banking etc, but this all inclusive
'everyone is a crook cos they once claimed expenses line' that seems to be a
clarion call to the Daily Mailed/Sun classes is counter-productive. I read the
Beeb expenses for instance - 1 example of profligacy was a woman who'd been
abroad 6 times in a year and had the 'audicity' to claim £200 a time. Compared
with Lahndan prices, that doesn't sound particularly excessive to me.
MP's are different, even if the amounts are trivial to an extent, because they
try and tell us how moral we all should be whilst they don't even pay for their
own f***ing scran out of their wages!! You hear lots of tales about public
service inefficiencies, but if our Finance rules were implemented in
Parliamentary circles then it would be problem solved at a stroke!
Compare that to the slit-eyed Terry and his £170k a week, and the footie club
owners/executives who seem unable to understand the simple economics of
taxation. I hope Portsmouth do go down the pan - 3 reasons 1) as a salutory
lesson to all 2) for spoiling my day in the Adelphi once with their daft oo-arr
singing and most of all 3) so I don't have to see that daft, grubby tw*t with
the bare chest (mr Portsmouth Football Club or whatever he's named himself)
ever again on telly!!
