So much talk about "a kick in the arse" and "this is what we needed" etc etc. Let's face it, we're on a downer at the moment and every team we play must be expecting something from their respective games with us....especially as our unbeaten home record is broken. Whoever would have thought that beating Man U would light the touch paper on such a poor run of results. Perhaps "that" was our season - hope we all enjoyed it (as the nation did) as there might be little else to celebrate. Looks like we're playing quite well and dominating teams but unable to score. Norwich must be quietly smiling as we've squandered all but one of our games in hand but still wouldn't match them on points if we won it (not likely at the moment) Not wanting to put too bad a face on it, teams do go through stages during a season, I'm not sure how, when or if we will get back to winning ways in time. We all agree that the play offs are not for us so I'm very wary of the likes of Swindon for e.g. to steam up and grab a promotion place. Winning and losing are both habit forming (sometimes regardless of how a match can pan out) and we're suffering from the latter habit. Perhaps revenge is a slow and smoldering process for Man U as they watch us falter as the weeks pass by? It's all right for some, strolling off to the San Siro and winning!! Right then, all the kicks in the arses have happened, we're still in 2nd spot, but our time and confidence is quickly running out. We must batter Brighton for points and confidence and a new winning habit to see us through. Anyone starting to consider another season in League One! Go on, admit it...we all are!

Dave
