That was a towering shower of shite.

In control for 20 minutes, then all confidence ebbed away. Passes going
everywhere, tackles nowhere, pushed off the ball in midfield. Walsall came to
stifle and harry and chase and by god they did. We should be used to this. We
should have the class to cope and rise above this.

With the exception of Kilkenny who had the best game of our midfield, in fact
of all of them, and Bromby who was solid in his defensive duties - ropey going
forward... no-one else did a damn thing. Becchio and Beckford hardly saw the
ball. We created very few real chances...even our goal was a misplaced cross.

Naylor and Crowe had stinkers, missed every damn tackle they went for, lost the
ball countless times and won few headers.

BUT the biggest problem last night - the crowd all 18, 500 of em - booing of
individuals started after 25 minutes...booing the team at half time...heckling
and jeering from the start of the second half - so much so that Beckford turned
to the Kop and put his fingers to his lips in a shushing motion...yes, the
team's play, the spirit, the hunger, the ability wasn't there last night and it
was sobering, but those who jeer and boo are only serving to kill the fragile
confidence, to make Grayson's job harder and to make any crumble in form more
likely. We can't afford to stay in this division for another season and the
team needs the hecklers like it needs a hole in the head.

We don't have a divine right to win matches or to get promoted these things
need to be earned every time we go on the pitch, the sooner some clowns who
"support" this club realise this the better it will be for the team. And if
some of you who came to see the cup matches against these sexy Premiership
sides could arsed to get of your couches on a cold Tuesday night and support
the team that you're so free with your opinions of over the internet, then that
might help as well. Wouldn't you like to do your bit, or might you miss Holby
City or the Champions League on telly?
