I wasn't at the game so can't really comment other to say what a player he's turning out to be. He's scoring rate is now up to around 1 in 3 for Leeds which is really good. He even needed to do a bit of work for his second last night apparently.
Seriously though, I'm happy with him doing a Chapman role and he's done that in the last 2 games, i.e not able to play football but being able to be in the right position to slot home goals every game. Unfortunately history as proved that he finds this difficult and seems to play in spells rather than being consistent over a season. I think if you look at his Southend goal that just sums him up at the moment, his attempt at a one-two in the build up was high comedy as his return pass was skyed, however he continued with his run , got in the six yard box for Gradel to put it on his head where he couldn't miss. Good stuff. My mate reckoned he missed one of the easiest chances ever last night and should have had a double hat-trick. Still, his 2 goals did the job. He wouldn't be in my side though and should we get promotion he will not have a chance in the Championship. ----- Original Message ---- From: Alec <[email protected]> To: Leedslist <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, 13 April, 2010 20:59:15 Subject: [LU] Becchio I will be interested in Rich's comments and score for Becchio. It does seem that we do better with him in the team. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
