It's called sarcastic humour Richard old love. You know - Beckford was the only one keeping the team going, saving us when times were bad. And now he's not.
You're not taking it too well are you? You best get sharpening the pins for your Becchio voo-doo doll. :-) Andy C Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device -----Original Message----- From: Richard Walker <[email protected]> Date: Wed, 14 Apr 2010 11:00:00 To: <[email protected]>; Leedslist<[email protected]> Subject: Re: [LU] Becchio Prince Jermaine the saviour ? Is that what you think ? You're a weird one. ----- Original Message ---- From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: Richard Walker <[email protected]>; Leedslist <[email protected]> Sent: Wed, 14 April, 2010 11:55:38 Subject: Re: [LU] Becchio If Beckford had scored that, then it would have been down to his pure skill. Talking of inconsistent seasons as you did in your first post, do you expect Princess Jermaine the saviour to start at all for the rest of the season, or has his Leeds career effectively ended? "He outpaced the Carlisle defender" - errrr, that's Ian Harte you're talking about, surely the slowest footballer in all 4 leagues and then his shot went under the keeper. It was really poor keeping in my book (I would have deffo saved that). It wasn't a great finish , far from it, would have been saved 99 times out of a 100. ----- Original Message ---- From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: Richard Walker <[email protected]>; Leedslist <[email protected]> Sent: Wed, 14 April, 2010 11:45:06 Subject: Re: [LU] Becchio I would suggest you look out for his second. He took it with true aplomb. Almost Beckford-esq in execution. That's Beckford pre scum win by the way, and not since scum win and closure of the transfer window. Obviously. He's scoring rate is now up to around 1 in 3 for Leeds which is really good. He even needed to do a bit of work for his second last night apparently. Seriously though, I'm happy with him doing a Chapman role and he's done that in the last 2 games, i.e not able to play football but being able to be in the right position to slot home goals every game. Unfortunately history as proved that he finds this difficult and seems to play in spells rather than being consistent over a season. I think if you look at his Southend goal that just sums him up at the moment, his attempt at a one-two in the build up was high comedy as his return pass was skyed, however he continued with his run , got in the six yard box for Gradel to put it on his head where he couldn't miss. Good stuff. My mate reckoned he missed one of the easiest chances ever last night and should have had a double hat-trick. Still, his 2 goals did the job. He wouldn't be in my side though and should we get promotion he will not have a chance in the Championship. ----- Original Message ---- From: Alec <[email protected]> To: Leedslist <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, 13 April, 2010 20:59:15 Subject: [LU] Becchio I will be interested in Rich's comments and score for Becchio. It does seem that we do better with him in the team. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
