Even though my life is here in the States now I've held off being a citizen.
even though, due to the fact that I spent the first 8 years of my life in
Malaysia, I have actually now lived in the US longer than I lived in the UK but
I still feel English. It also means my kids can hold british passports and it
keeps me out of jury duty but does mean I can't vote.
I've not got anything against anyone becoming a citizen, just not for me, so
can't help you there I'm afraid.
