Graham, it's not the Government's fault but the NHS'.
Mine took over a year - due to the various levels of different systems I had to
be seen through. They 'lost' me twice between seeing the Doctor and getting an
MRI scan.
The irony is my Op was to be private but to get the paperwork to see a private
surgeon you have to an NHS referral.
I think it took less than a week to get the Op once I saw the specialist. It
would do, they money they charge.
The physio was back on the NHS and was great, once they'd 'lost' me yet again
on a different system.
