Very mixed feelings about this.
I am not amongst those who wish him well.
I verge from not caring to wishing him failure. I hate anyone who wants
away.
How he can leave as a hero and Alan Smith as a villain is beyond me.
I admire and follow Milner and Smith. I wish a few of the others well like
Keane, Lennon & Woodgate. I despise Ferdinand in spite of his charitable
work.
In that scale of things Beckford is closer to Ferdinand than he is to
Keane.

In fact with 20:20 hindsight we were wrong not to sell hum at Xmas! His
contribution since he lost interest after Spurs could have been equaled by
any 2 million signing who would still be here.
But no one knew that at the time.
In fact I think the non selling brought across a very positive message, but
it was an expenseive one.
