it's a wonderful irony that the people most dead set against any sort of
legalisation are the criminals that exploit drug users.  A slightly less
wonderful one is that the recent gutter press induced illegalisation of
legal highs has exponentially increased their cost and danger.  I think Bill
Hicks said something really erudite about the stupidity of prohibition, but
I've forgotten.  What I do remember is that there is a film made about his
