dunno whether this is true or not, but has the situation 'had' to change because of the requirements around declaration of ownership? Maybe this guy was one of the previous shareholders, or not? Who knows? It would be nice to have a chance of competing to get out of Div2 though.

Just got this from a source Leeds United – Breaking News: Leeds United have been bought out by a foreign billionaire. The deal is all done, the papers have been signed. 2 national newspapers have the story ready to print, but an injunction has been placed on the story by the new owner due to an issue he is having with Leeds City Council. Once this issue is resolved, the injunction will be lifted. The above is all fact. The following is not concrete, but believed to be true: – Ken Bates will stay on as an advisor to the new chairman. CEO Shaun Harvey, amongst others, will lose their jobs. – Simon Grayson will be kept on as manager, and given a small amount of money to spend before the window closes. Don't believe it? Watch this space. -- Shawn _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
