After the Seattle victory that stopped the World Trade Organization
ministerial meeting in it's 'fast' tracks, thousands are now
converging on Washington DC to challenge the International Monetary
Fund and World Bank at their meeting on April 16-17.

Once again, independent video makers, radio producers, journalists
and activists are rallying under the common goal of social and
economic justice to challenge the IMF/World Bank pro-corporate
policies.

In an effort to reclaim media democracy, the Independent Media
Center will make public the voices and concerns of tens of thousands
from all over the world who will gather in Washington. Every day,
on the spot, independent media coverage will be provided in print,
audio and video on the web (at http://www.indymedia.org) and via
television with an April 21st satellitecast across the U.S..
