Im assuming your talking about the bottom photo 3rd cane up from the bottom I didn't think that was a ribbon spiral i know the ribbon i made my tilting z axis to do them the one he made looked like a single strand of wood wound fast down the cane i thought it was done with a plunge roundover bit and all the rest of the wood removed to leave that single fast spiral, but then i look again and you might be right like you i sure wish he or she was a member to ask the all important question How??
