Hi All, 

The owner added some more photos.  It's really close to the 600 that you bought 
Begat.  Red Legs.  I still can't see the method of elevation but I'm assuming 
it's plates on the front and back of the carriage just like the 600.   I'd give 
it a $500 value as is.   If I saw it at a garage sale, I'd say $250.  Although 
that machine has plastic gears, they are 1/4" and that makes them pretty 
durable and they are quite in operation.  They use to say tapering is possible 
by milling from the side.  I find that technique takes skill and practice to 
perfect.
