Bill, (Tim - I have a question for you  below.)

Is that your "Pin" on the Group's Map - near Castlemaine, Victoria?  Looks like Victoria might be Australia's smallest state, land-size wise.  Is that correct?

Yes, those plans came from The Woodsmith Corp. - they also publish Shopnotes.

By the way, does anyone Down Under watch our "Super Bowl" game (American Football - Championship game) - being played Sunday evening (Eastern Standard Time) not too far outside of New York City - in the state of New Jersey (our fifth  smallest state - with only 7,419 sq miles of land).

Tim, When I access the map (it loads slowly - like you said) very few pins give any info regarding who the pin represents and the Mill(s) they have.  Is that my browser's fault - or do most Members need to update/add to their Pin's info?  I can see Bagat's, Curtis Brown's, Va Oak's, and maybe 6 more nation-wide, maximum.

Mac

I’m in the southern part of Australia in Victoria

I have seen those plans before they were in one of the shop notes magazine issues

It seems to work on a similar way as the revo perhaps its origins are legacy based who knows

Certainly would be a poor man’s legacy ornamental mill

Cheers, Bill,

It's sort of cool here in Virginia - about 36 F.   Where in Australia are you?

In case you do have a problem with your mill seizing up in the heat, you may want to try constructing one using the plans that the below link has to offer.

I wonder, has anyone in the Group either seen one of these - or BUILT one?  The plans may be a product of Andy's "Younger" inventive years.  ;-)

Enjoy.  Maybe someone in the Group will build one of these and let us know how well it works.

Mac

Franklin was right - when the "Takers" outnumber the "Makers" - the Republic is DOOMED!
