Yes your right russ it does give much more accurate positioning as well sorry I forgot to mention it before, as well as the added stability it gives the saddle for template work. and thank you for all your videos it gives new legacy owners and the long time owners a place to see the mills many different possibilities.

Much better than the way the x axis works with templates or the drive gears. being able to set the “point zero” instead of using the static ruler on the rail is a big plus to me. Saddle slop when template turning with the legacy, the movement in the saddle makes it hard to do repeated accurate cuts following a template your incra attached to the saddle may have just solved that problem I wish I owned one to try it and see.
