Bill
I have a geared motor driving my spindle it is a geared 50 RPM 415 volt 3
phase 50 cycle, controlled by an inverter----- I can control the speed from
very slow up to 75 cycles. I:E hand speeds
It has a 'V' pulley about six inch dia. driving the two inch pulley on
the spindle----------- it gives me a great choice of speed.
Now if I can work out how to use Tim's crank wave system by connecting up
to the leadscrew then I may be able to get it to work thus
The large pulley would have the crank driving a rocker fixed to the
leadscrew.
Am I dreaming, or have any of the other forum members ideas on the matter.??
I have been trying to find other LOM users here in the U.K. To discuss my
thoughts on making more use of my Revo and Woodchuck, I have only found
two and they do not use them now, just tried it out and then shelved it,
Any one can turn a few spirals etc, but these LOM's are quite an
interesting pastime if one has the time and like me, retired!!
I hope you can understand my ramblings, and I await more suggestions from
other members besides Curt,Tim and yourself.
