Hello HarveyIf I may, I would like to make a suggestion, What I did on my first
Legacy turning , was to re-work an already made table leg. What I did was, I
roped a normal table leg, much like what you showed us. The owner bought a
Chinese made table (real beefy table legs.) his wife did not like it at all.
What I did was to take the legs off the table, mount them between the centers
on the Legacy, and then, I used a 6" pitch with a 1 1/4" roping bit. (if my
memory serves me correctly?) I roped the tapper and left the ends as they were.
If you don't want to spend a lot of money, why not go to a salvation Army
store, or any place who sells second hand furniture, You can buy a table,That
has legs that you asked to make  for little money. You can rope/flute or reed,
details on already made items, is a faster way to get the job done.
The Legacy has a learning curve, sometimes the best way to beat the curve is by
looking out side the box. (so to speak.) ;-)  I see the Legacy as a detail
machine, If can do things that a Lathe can not, So I like to look at what the
Legacy can do well, instead of how I can make the Legacy into a better lathe...
Here is some eye-candy.

I look at all the table legs here, and then dream about how to re-work what is
normal and then make it , My own Legacy.  creation . ;-)
Have a good Night .

No I am not, however, I do have access to it at the Milwaukee Makerspace.  I
have been tempted to make a lathe duplicator from one of my wood magazines, now
may be the time to do it.

I was looking at something like this
  https://www.lowes.com/pd/ Artesian-Maple-Table-Leg-
Actual-2-75-in-x-29-in/3502288
I downloaded a picture of one of the legs and I was going to try and cut a
profile in Vcarve in order to get dimensions.

  Thanks

Today, my wife asked me to build her a new dinning room table. She showed me
several plans that she likes, then asked if I could make dinner table legs. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
  Thank you.
