hey mac and all other members,
                                                    excellent topic and
won't deviate from it with detailed update... moved my business(and my
girlfriend and myself at he same time!), very difficult and expensive, my
legacy is not located in my new shop, which is one quarter the size of the
old shop, the machine is located in a "working" warehouse in port jervis.
new York( there only on some weekends, for now), have not had a job that
required using the legacy for quite some time now(translated, means
business stinks!), especially since I really only use the legacy to do
twisted milling work(reeds and flutes) on drapery poles and furniture parts.
in regards to the 4X gear set, certainly would have liked to have
it, as I am into having a machine that is as complete as possible with all
attachments/accessories... but finances being what they are these days, and
as much as I would want to, I cannot put my name on this potential list of
4X buyers, although my machine would be well suited for this upgrade... but
then, the brackets and gears would have to be completely re-worked, so it
could fit my machine.
I will mention that the legacy disassembled and reassembled without
any problems, just as it was designed to do... so that was a positive in a
sea of negatives!... I have been following the groups various topics and
comments through these past several months... all good stuff... and I will
throw out a tease to all members that I am getting ready to sell an extra
"Z" axis upgrade that I purchased a few years ago… how much?... not sure
yet, but I do need to get the max as to what it might be worth, as I am in
a financial pickle... hope to be posting soon regarding this, or people can
contact me directly... <finun...@aol.com> … thanks, joe biunno
