Hello Guys.

What the Group dose not want, I will be using for my own projects.

I talked to Mike today, And through our talk I finely decided to part this
machine out. (rather then remake it.)

I will be posting photo's of the parts so all can see what is there. but for
now this is what I have found.

As a small note, 20 yr old packing peanuts,  have a shelf life, they cause a
mess when the boxes were open today... ;-)

This is the list of boxes/ PARTS,

Gear cover,

Dust collection box. (cloth, hardware and vacuum ports.)

3 sets of Horizontal bench vise's,( I have no idea why anyone would want of
need 3 of them but I found three boxes...)

Thin stock support, (the bar one, not the set that go on the carriage.)

Gears. All three Gear sets (standard, X-2 &.25 gear set.)

Vertical bench vise

Expand indexing kit.

Head and tail stock.

carriage assembly,

leg kit. (with screw adjustment and parts.)

Rotary table, (or tables, I have my old one that could also be sold,) I have
three at the moment.

Plus a lot of little stuff, like PEM brackets and cap screw (parts to mount the
alum. rail...)

Acme Screw part and brackets... Everything to make a 1000 or 1500. minus the
rail and lead screw.

Most everything is in original boxes, little to no rust on any parts, Only one
box was water damaged, and that box was the manual, paperwork and DVD's. So
nothing of great valve was lost there!

I have set aside the Design kit for a prize , If everyone is up for A game?

And I have set a few thing aside for my self. (but even those may be up for
grabs latter?)

Have a good night.

talk to you all more tomorrow.

Hi Curtis

Instead of the most posts, how about different project ideas or modifications
to the LOM?  (Just an idea or suggestion)

Hello Everyone

It looks like things have been a little slow around here, So I've come

with an idea.

I just recently came up with a treasure trove of Legacy parts and equipment,
many still in the original box's, not used.

To make a long story short, the original owner passed away before he was able
to use his machine. Years after his death, the family is cleaning up all of
his... stuff. I just picked up what was marked Legacy, but sadly, I found out a
few boxes that are needed to put this machine together are missing, The 4 alum.
support rails and the lead screw are not part of the package/bundle I just
acquired.

So what do I do?

I just found a Legacy design kit, in one of these boxes,

I know a number of people in our group here have been wanting this design kit.

So instead of selling the parts to people in the group,

How about we make a game of it?

I was thinking since the holidays are coming up. Who ever has the most posting
to the group could win this prize?

Since this month is 1/2 over this month dose not count. I want to find out what
everyone thinks of this idea. If We get a number of people liking this idea.
then Next month/ November. we can start keeping count.

I will also tell everyone now, there are a number of parts that I do not need.
like a rotatory turn table, (I now own three of those !) ;-(  and assembly
parts like those pesky PEM fittings that we talked about earlier this month.
plus a hole lot more... (I've not gone through all of the boxes yet.)

The Machine was bought in 2002, its a Legacy modal 1000 or 1500? there is a leg
kit. that is open, I do not know if all the parts are there? (yet)

Basically what I am saying, If anyone want any parts for there machine... I may
be able to help them out.

Bye the way, there is a box marked Dust collection...  I defiantly Do NOT need
that! ;-)

Please let me know what everyone thinks?
