Hi Tim,

Sorry about not getting back earlier.  Yes - I agree - a bit more than I'd like to spend. 
Especially not having a very good idea as to exactly what is on them - and whether of not I'd get much out of them.

My other thought is "Has Legacy by chance either posted them on the internet or told Tim K. that he may provide them via email to Group members?"
I'd think Legacy would be amenable to allowing us (our Group) to share those kinds of info among ourselves. 
Perhaps Tim K., John H., of someone else from Legacy will see this and provide a reply.

My "guess" is it may have been a version of the "reversing gear" ?  To change direction of rotation of Acme screw from clock- to counter clock-wise.

I have this part that I got with my 1200 LOM. 
I was told from Legacy I may as well get rid of it. 
As it belonged to some setup I did have.
Does anyone know where it can be used or what
parts I need to use it?
