What the guy in the vid clip missed out on was the very necessary months
lumber spends in a kiln or the (preferable) 1 year per inch thickness of
timber to air dry.
You would be asking for all sorts of problems buying timber from a store
that had not been properly dried to somewhere around 15% moisture content.
Just the same as you wouldn't burn fresh felled firewood.
