Bill you are right. I did not like the look of the REVO at that time. (it was
just to different form what Legacy had made in the past,) it was also to small
for most of what I was making. So I did not see any advantages for me to buy
something that I did not think I would ever use. Today! My perspectives are
different. Some say "Wisdom dose come with age", but I just think, With this
age stuff in mind. I just cant see what I'm doing anymore. I need to get closer
to the work. ;-p

I remember back when I bought my first revo when they were available it wasn’t
that popular in the group, now you guys are seeing its good points and they are
hard to get absence does make the heart grow fonder lol

Granted all the Legacy's do the same things, but when working with small
turnings, I think this open feeling/ up close feeling, would allow greater
precision just due to having the ability to see the smaller details before you

I was going through some old paperwork and found an ad for the REVO.
The more I look at this little machine the more I like it.
This is a good ad. If I remember correctly I cut it out of an American
woodworker magazine, back in the early 2000's.
I have been day dreaming about re-making the REVO and using linear rails
instead of the slides that Legacy used. Other than that I think Legacy did an
Awesome job on this machine, Sadly I didn't buy one when I had the chance. (but
honestly, at that time, I thought that the REVO was to small for my needs, and
did not see the advantages of its design until year after.)
