Tim,
Thanks.  That was exactly why I posted it.
As you said, we (The Group) have had questions & discussions about what to use
for replacing a split nut as well as what to use on other parts of the Mill
(like on the headstock if your Mill doesn't have the ball bearing setup) and
Mill related accessories.
I see the link as a "resource page" to add to your browser's Bookmarks.
Glad to hear you find it of value.

Hey Curt this is for sure legacy stuff for the split nut and any other items we
would use on our LOMs that would could mill or create for our machines. That
was a great piece of information.

HI Mac.
We use this piping of inspection piping on our swear lines, at the hospital.
"Yes" Its pricey, but for small inspection areas it works out GREAT.
( Now I can see where the clog is or isn't.  in the past it was a guessing game
to figure out where the clog is makes is much easer to clear a backed up drain.)

Neat stuff.
Now back to Legacy topics. ;-p

(that's 1 for Mac.)

Hi all,

I came across the below link tonight.
It has some GREAT info regarding plastics.
I recall several discussions here where the various characteristics of
plastics, like Delrin®, have been kicked around.  Check it out before you start
fabricating items out of plastics.

https://www.grainger.com/know-how/equipment-information/kh-choose-plastic-for-manufacturing-fabrication

Enjoy.
