Hi Vadim,

I have to say I love your mill so new its been a long time since I saw a virgin
mill and it’s a ball bearing headstock well done

Rotary table and its drive shaft 2x and .25 gear sets not to mention all the
magnate router bits. All the pics worked very clear

Now please take a pic or 2 of the problem Hight adjuster and the working one so
we can help you with that.

You will be able to do some great things with what you have there.

Bill

Subject: New here - need some help with a replacement part

Hey ya'll,

I posted last week with a brief info. Got some more close up photos because
some of you asked. I ended up uploading them here: https://imgur.com/a/LIXn5fs.
If links are a no go here, all good, I can resend.

A bit about me: I'm Vadim, I live in California (San Francisco Bay Area). I am
a hobbyist woodworker and my shop is a 120 sq ft tuff shed. I was given a LOM
1200 a few months ago. Brand new, still in a bunch of boxes that were never
assembled. I finally got around to putting it together and joined this group!
Didn't realize how much real-estate it would take up in my shop but I'm excited
about all the future projects. Photos in the link include all the stuff it came
with.

The only issue during assembly was with the rectangular plastic pieces that
hold the screws that make the adjustable bed go up and down. The machine is
supposed to come with two threaded pieces and two non-threaded pieces, one of
each per side. Mine came with one threaded and three non-threaded. So one side
goes up and down when the screw wheel is cranked, but the other does not (I can
lift it and lock it in place). The pieces I'm talking about are on page 31 of
the pdf manual and the last two photos in my link above.

I'd appreciate any ideas ya'll might have for finding replacement pieces or
making one myself. I was thinking about making a replacement out of a block of
wood and a threaded piece (just gotta figure out what the thread is on the
screw, anyone know?).

Any other thoughts on general improvements?

Thanks! Look forwarding to trying out all the things in Bill's recent videos.

- Vadim
