Try winding it from the spindle instead Tim you might find it will take less power

Also changed the linkage between the drive gear and the duplex gear. I added 4.5 inches and tapped additional holes to move the directional gear to accommodate the X 2 gear as the drive gear. I cut out a spacer on my Laser to allow me to put the elongated holed indexable gear in the place for a drive gear.
