Sherry, I don't think there will ever be a satisfactory resolution of this issue. I can name at least two denominations that use "baptism" for what some call "christening"...The United Church of Christ and the Presbyterian Church, USA. To say that baptism usually refers to adult baptism is something with which I would quibble...grin.
