I'm a long time (v. 3+) Legacy User now using V. 6 Deluxe. For the first time I'm facing a very major merge and have a question re: merging of sources. I've read the manual, help files, etc and either can't find the answer or don't understand the directions.
Question is, when merging, do all sources transfer?
A specific example: On the left is John Doe with a birth date of "Abt 1850" and the sources include several census records. On the right is John Doe with a birth date of "4 July 1850" and the sources are a church record and a birth record. The information to be kept (right box checked) is "4 July 1850". When merged will the resulting info be "4 July 1850" [yes] with all sources including the census records, the church record and the birth record [? - THE QUESTION] ?
