I agree Jack. Hugely underwhelmed with PE too.
After uninstalling I needed to run Registry Mechanic to get my system running properly.
In fact I'm so cranky about it, I removed the PE icon from my Toolbar! Geoff Oxlade Jack Earnshaw wrote:

At least in Legacy we can change it, but not with PE. That is why there is a danger of losing data when you uninstall the package. Sorry, but I'm distinctly unimpressed. The package seems shoddily put together and the free version is really only a "come-on" to buy the full version. I decided to uninstall the package and not only did I have to then remove the folders left behind but also run CCleaner twice to remove all the "dross" left behind. Jack
