I have check this and still have the problem. The line appears 6cm from the
top of the page. As I add more data the line stays at 6cm. So I conclude it
is not related to a data field rather to the report in some way

I haven't much idea.
Since the line is moving and unique to this individual, have you
checked the fact/note before the line? Perhaps it ends with a line or
some other characters that are causing a problem. Make sure it ends
without extra spaces, carriage returns etc. Has it got a line or
image attached to it? Could that be over printing on the next item?
