My sister lives in an area of rural Oklahoma where every phone call is
long distance, She has no choices

I too was in an area where dialup was the only option, until I heard

still live where I cannot get broadband from telephone or cable, but
thanks to the satellite, I enjoy the faster speed of broadband.

As one who does not have the option of broadband, and thus is forced
to use dialup, I do not disagree with anything else you said, and I am
willing to put up with the long download, even (especially) if the
charting functions were included.

The charting functionality as shown in Genbox and other packages is
really a
"basic" requirement to many of us. It is the one feature that
constantly
makes me question if Legacy is the right tool for me. I love Legacy
for all
it's features, but put plainly, it is right at the back of the que

talking about charting, compared to all other packages. Charting

Tree Draw simply do not cut it, and are an added expense which no other
package would make you pay for.

Legacy has an add-on in Tree Draw. I, as one person, do not want a
charting
progam added into the history/genealogy program. It is large enough
as it
is, and would make a larger download each update.
