I am not sure, but I would think you would only get the pop-up if you had used that source somewhere. If it is new and you haven't used it yet, there would be no need to ask if you wanted to apply the changes to all occurences.

Subject: [LegacyUG] New copies of Source documents

I'm wanting to copy a source document to a new source and then make changes
to it.

I used to get the dialog box asking if I want to apply changes to all
occurrences of create a new source.

I no longer seem to get this, it just changes the original source.

How much do I have to change or what fields need to be changed for it to ask
the question so I can create a new source instead of changing the original?
