Hi Liz,

I've always had a fairly quick response when I needed to unsubscribe. I don't
think it would take this long.

When you unsubscribe, I believe you'll get a little message pop up that says
the unsubscribe was successful, after you fill in the little box and click on
unsubscribe. The link below takes you to the proper page on the Legacy website
but you still need to go through the motions to unsubscribe once you're there.

If it were me, I'd try again. Be sure to watch for some indication your
"unsubscribe" was successful.

Mary

|I now realise why there are so many people that post frustrated unsubscribe
| messages to the list. I used the link at the bottom of the email over 5
| days ago and am still receiving emails.
|
| Much as I enjoy the list and reading all the knowledgeable comments I do
| need to unsubscribe whilst I take a break from genealogy.
|
| Does anyone know how long it takes for the unsubscribe to take effect?
|
| Liz
