Mary,

I should have mentioned that if you go to Search>Search and Replace, select Location Lists and enter ", ," ( no inverted commas) with "," it will eliminate them. There would still be a problem with the locations which start with a single or double comma however.

Mary,

Correct. Which is why I only use it for checking locations. As I have said before and Jenny mentions in another email it is not really suitable for UK addresses.

I've just started using the GeoLocation Database. Because I want to put
separate UK countries in the "Country" field, the database shifts the county
up into "State/Province". Result, all my UK entries have a blank county,
giving e.g.
Pickering, , Yorkshire, England. and Durness, , Sutherland, Scotland.
How can I remove the redundant comma from Reports?
(I can only see an option to remove *leading* commas.)
Regards,
Mary Young, Edinburgh, Scotland
