Thanks again Richard - though I think you've ruined my day. Looks like a 128 bit code with some sort of checksum hidden from display but appended in a GEDCOM. No simple way to edit that. Still, what you've given me lets me experiment to study my other questions. Note for archives or any kibitzer, when set to display, the Intellishare ID does so on the "Details" tab.
