Renee, A few questions: Have you looked at the Help section for Surety - Level? Do you have Standard or Deluxe edition?
I am having a little trouble understanding your question. Do you (a) want to change the surety level to a new default level for all new sources? Or (b) are you wanting to set the surety level for an individual, and the change doesn't remain permanent after you save that individual? If (a): From the Help, after you click on Options it says - "Customize - Sources - Source Surety: Sets the default Surety Level for new sources." I would like to be able to permanently change the Surety Level settings for individual sources. I don't want to change the global setting. I have tried going into the master source list, going to Options and clicking on Change Surety Settings. But this doesn't seem to work. It reverts back to the global default and I still have to change the surety setting each time I use the source. It would be nice to be able to set the surety when you add or edit a source.
