You didn't look to me like you had ulterior motives, but I certainly think that the promotion of any of the inferior software programs and their betas and updates undermines the hard work of Legacy and their hard work of trying to implement user requests, helps, and this list to help us in continuing to use what I consider the best on the market. I, too have used others and continue to test them. But, as far as I am concerned they are all inferior and it is absolutely inappropriate to push them on this list. You didn't just push for the link in one message. I have seen it in your post twice that I know of. If you don't think Legacy to be the best on the market then go download what you consider to be the best and leave the rest of us to try and continue our works.

I have used both products and like features of both. I have not done any genealogy work in any product about a year or more other then recording a birth and death and watching what's new and offered. What I want is for all the products to become better. I know there are people that have jumped between products for some things and used both. Ultimately some features I am after I have not found in any genealogy program and I have looked and asked around. The post I made to Jack was more trying to say yes sometimes companies announce products, features etc. I after I sent it I actually felt bad that I may have been a little rude to Jack in the way I said that. I apologize to Jack for sounding rude or condescending. I am sorry to the list if I looked like I had ulterior motives. Alan Have you unlocked the real power of Legacy?
