I did use the 5.5 option from the drop down list as that is the only way I know how to create a GEDCOM. He is going to try again tonight so we'll see what happens.

Without knowing which type of Gedcom you sent it is difficult to know whether the problem is at your end or your cousin's. I have sent GEDCOM 5.5 to several users of different programs, including FTM without problems. The 5.5 option is obtained by using the drop-down list in the box where it says "produce files for".

You can view your Gedcom in Notepad, as can your cousin, and if you compare them and they are the same then the problem may lie with his/her FTM, otherwise there has been a transmission problem.
