Jan,

You first need to install Legacy on you new laptop and then the best way of transferring your data is to transfer your backup file (normally a zip file in C:\Legacy\Data) and use File>Restore.

This matter has been discussed in detail on LUG within the last week or so and I suggest that you look in the archives (link in the footnotes below).
