Have you perhaps changed any of the 'Display Properties'? Right click on the desktop and in the display properties window go to the 'Appearance' tab. Make sure the font size is 'Normal'. On the 'Settings' tab click on 'Advanced' and make sure the DPI setting is normal. You may need to restart your PC. That's all I can think of at the moment.
