The thing about Legacy that saved me from the utter despair of my previous
program was the ability to find and fix anything from just about anywhere
within the program. All the mistakes I knew were there and could never
find to fix were immediately apparent, and fixable from...(ta da)...the
Name List!

I love the name list. "Name List" doesn't even come close to describing
what this feature is all about. There are lots of things I don't know
about Legacy yet, and lots more I may never discover, but I can make the
Name List get up and dance around the room with me. It is my partner in my
quest for perfection.

The IGI search is a glory and a wonder. Oh, the countless hours of
drudgery it has saved me! And even I can't mess up while doing a merge
unless I fall asleep. I use the calendar every day; it is not only useful,
it's just plain fun.

The hardest part was the sourcing. But I got it. I didn't get it all at
once, and after 3 (or is it 4?) years with Legacy I'm still learning, but
it actually sank in. Right now I'm reworking all the census sources in the
Master Source List. I am clearly a "lumper," and after the recent
discussions here on the list there is no more indecision about how to set
them up properly.

But the best is yet to come. Legacy 7 will have charts. And I can't wait!
