I hate to disagree but I think I would separately source the obituaries and
other published newspaper articles referring to the actual newspapers, if
known, or, at a minimum, the presumed locale of the newspapers so that
someone 100 years from now could locate the actual newspaper or a microfilm
of that newspaper, realizing that everyone is not as good as they ought to
be about writing the name of the newspaper and the publication date in the
margins of news clippings or microfilm printouts. It seems to me that all
this would be more challenging, not to mention, correct, than merely saying
it was found in a fmaily bible.
