Both of these files are needed by your laptop - it is a laptop isn't it?

Drivers are small software packages that make things work. Soundmax is
needed by your computer to make sound come out of the speakers. the other
one, SynTPEnh.exe, is needed by your laptop to make the touchpad work - Syn
is short for Synaptic, the TP is touchpad. You may have to go to your laptop
manufacturer for the answer. I doubt that this has anything to do with
Legacy.

What is a soundmax driver, where did it come from, do I need it and how
can I get rid of it please ?

As I have very limited internet access could you please give me the
answers to my questions without referring me to the internet ?
