I was out of town and off list for much of October, and when I returned I emailed Legacy re. Version 7. If you (like me) are anxious for news, FYI, here is their reply:

Believe me, everyone is anxious! Creating software is similar to building a house; if the plumber doesn't finish his work (perhaps he's waiting for a part) then the folks that install the insulation and sheetrock have to wait and down the line it goes. You should probably do as you suggest, "just continue with 6 and pretend that I haven't heard anything". Thank you for your patience and understanding! There was much discussion in Sept about this new version, and that it would probably be available after the Legacy Cruise. I see that the cruise ship has docked and everyone is back to daily life (I assume). What is the news with Legacy 7? There seemed to be a general consensus that the new features would make data entry much easier, so I have postponed quite a bit of entry work in anticipation of the time-saving features of this new version. Do you have any kind of timetable for the release of this upgrade; or, perhaps, I should just continue with 6 and pretend that I haven't heard anything?
