Hi Heather,
This is a bug I notified a long time ago. It is entered in the bug
tracking system. If you do a relationship calculation on the
children, you may be stunned to see them reported as first cousins
rather than half siblings or as full siblings.

I have turned on View 1/2 kids in Family View (thanks to this list for
pointing it out - I love it!)
But I am noticing an anomaly, which I will see if I can explain clearly.
I have an ancestor, Ellen McCaslin. She had 3 children while single,
which I have entered with a single unknown father. (I don't know if
they had the same father or not - but for now put them together.)
She was then married, and had more children. She then had a child a
couple of years after her husband died, which I have entered under a
DIFFERENT unknown father. Neither of the unknown father's are
actually entered as people. (ie, no RIN)
In Family View - with 1/2 kids view turned on... When you look at
her family with her actual husband, all the kids and 1/2 kids show
correctly. But, when you look at the family with either of the
unknown husbands, you do not see the child/children of the unknown
husband listed as a 1/2 kid. (but you do see the 1/2 kids from the
actual marriage.) So the problem seems to be seeing the 1/2 kids
with the 2 unknown fathers.
Can anyone recreate this?
And a minor other thing - if I turn on the viewing of unknown - it
doesn't list (unknown) after the 1/2 children's name where it would
show the other parents name otherwise....
Thanks
