I suggest you go to index tab, go to options, choose
Include AKAs in list. scroll throuth the whole list,
giving quick glance at each name. If there are
problems, most will 'jump' out at you. A big database
may take a while, but any other way is even more
tedious.
Either fix as found or tag for later, depending on the
quantity if fixes.

I just checked, and my AKA's also came over from FTM
in the wrong format. Is
it possible to search for all AKA's and see a list
where I can go to those
with AKA's and correct the format? I tried a couple
of things in the search
screens and came up empty....

I am going through the master list of surnames and
correcting the formatting
as it was suggested and it is working very well but
in the process I have
found an interesting glitch. Apparently when I
imported my FTM file all
AKAs were automatically put in the surname space!
So, when added only a
first name AKA in FTM (like Polly) it transferred
over to the surname spot.
I wouldn't have readily noticed this if it weren't
for me reformatting my
surnames take out the all caps. Very interesting!
So, I am fixing both
issues at the same time.
