By the way, just as a matter of information, Michele's discovery is exactly how my Dad's nickname, Red, got in the surname field. His nickname was in my FTM as an AKA. When I imported from FTM, all given name AKA's were put in the surname field. Mystery solved. [Then, I had to apply the lesson that even though I corrected each individual file, once entered into a surname field, the master list of surnames would still have it, until deleted from the master list.] Barbara
