Yes, IMHO very few people want it. For myself, when adding continuously for an hour, I run a backup. But I might be working to do lists, or transcribing a bunch of wills (slow typer) so not need to backup until a five or ten hour stint. Creating a running backup would be done with a time range in place. That would mean (for instance) a new backup each hour on the hour. I would need to eventually delete each of them by hand.
