Gene, This is a situation where the window is opening up off to the side of the screen. I'm not sure how this happens but deleting Legacy2.usr resets all the windows to the default screen and things are fine from there.
A "fresh" Legacy2.usr file will be regenerated when you go back into Legacy. I'll mention this to Jim to have him add it to the website. Thanks for using Legacy. It is possible I double click when there should be only 1 click - I have a few thousand of these corrections to do and am pushing to get them done... Thanks for the ideas! This is a windows bug, not a Legacy error. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=184200 . Support may also wish to look at this as the solution given does not appear to be available to Legacy users as I believe the form settings are hard coded into the program. -- Gene Y. n2kvs Researching Young, Zies, Harer & Cox with Legacy Family Tree http://h1.ripway.com/egptech/ Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
