The other thought I had after sending the message, isn't it always the
way, was to add another unnamed brother - of course either of all of
these one would have to add a note ?

Valerie,

There are only two possibilities: show him as the son of Andrew with a
note to say he might not be; or enter him as an unlinked individual with
a note to say he is the nephew of "x". I suppose there is a third -
don't enter him at all, though I do one of the first two.
